PVD Coating refers to a variety of thin film deposition techniques where a solid material is vaporized in a vacuum environment and deposited on substrates as a pure material or alloy composition coating.
As the process transfers the coating material as a single atom or on the molecular level, it can provide extremely pure and high performance coatings which can be preferable to other methods used.
PVD coatings are highly resistant to tarnishing and corrosion, making them ideal for tapware. PVD finishes provide colours that do not fade, and are very resistant to superficial damage and wear.
This new technology allows us to extend a 5 Year Warranty on finish on the all of our PVD coated Tapware products, alongside our standard 10 year product warranty.
